Cryolipolysis Effect
To date, more than 8 million Cryolipolysis treatments have been performed worldwide. Unlike liposuction, which may require anesthesia and risk of bleeding or serious infection, CoolSculpting is a relatively safe in-office surgery with minimal pain and no downtime.
Each application of the treatment itself takes 35 minutes and may require multiple applications to cover an area. For example, it may be necessary to use four or more times to ensure uniform fat removal from the entire front of the abdomen.
Cryolipolysis treatment results can be seen in as little as three weeks, and the greatest benefits can be seen in about three months. The average fat loss per round of treatment is about 10% to 25%, and there is no evidence of any systemic side effects. A second round of treatment may be required in a few months, depending on the desired results.
