A trusted source regarding the effectiveness of HIFU facial treatment for Koreans found that the procedure was the most effective in improving the appearance of wrinkles around the jaw, cheeks and mouth. Researchers compared standardized photos of participants before treatment with 3 months and 6 months after treatment.
Other trusted sources evaluated the effectiveness of HIFU facial treatments after 7, 4, and 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, the skin elasticity of the participants improved significantly in all treatment areas.
